Basketball
On Saturday
evening we were walking back from getting groceries and saw an organized
basketball game going on. We pass through the community basketball court every
time we go over to Ateneo and there is always somebody playing there (even at
6:20am). Normally it’s just a bunch of kids shooting baskets but this time
there was an organized game with children in jerseys, refs, announcers, and
lots of fans. We stopped to watch for a while. It was fun to see familiar faces
out on the court even though it looked like the visiting team was demolishing
our neighborhood team.
