A few weeks ago we mentioned that there were lots of stray cats in
the alleys and streets. Turns out, the cat hotspot near the entrance to Ateneo
exists because there’s an elderly lady there who feeds them. We walk past her
twice a day or so, and always have to stop to watch the kittens play. Just to
be good reporters, though, and not to give the impression that everything here
is sunshine and unicorns, we have seen a couple of cats who were victims of all the traffic and heavy rains. But these sightings have
been rare.
