We’re approaching our last few days in Salamanca. We leave
on Friday to head down to Granada with some friends from the Philippines. We
take a train back up to Madrid on Tuesday and then return to the U.S. on
Wednesday. We’re looking forward to posting some photos from Granada in a few
days!
This has been where we've gotten a pound of cherries every day |
another neat-looking building in the old city |
there are lots of great details on the buildings |
the accordion player who sits beneath the room where we work in the eveninga |
crowds watching the France-Germany world cup game in the Plaza Mayor |
a door I like near the fruit stand |
several of the garage doors have paintings like these |
on Saturday morning we went out for churros and chocolate |
all the stores sell a sheep's milk yogurt in little clay pots (they are very bland by themselves) |
One of the many street buskers is a woman who makes bubbles. She's a bit hit with little kids. |
