Last week in Salamanca

We’re approaching our last few days in Salamanca. We leave on Friday to head down to Granada with some friends from the Philippines. We take a train back up to Madrid on Tuesday and then return to the U.S. on Wednesday. We’re looking forward to posting some photos from Granada in a few days!

This has been where we've gotten a pound of cherries every day
another neat-looking building in the old city
there are lots of great details on the buildings

the accordion player who sits beneath the room where we work in the eveninga
crowds watching the France-Germany world cup game in the Plaza Mayor
a door I like near the fruit stand
several of the garage doors have paintings like these
on Saturday morning we went out for churros and chocolate
all the stores sell a sheep's milk yogurt in little clay pots (they are very bland by themselves)
One of the many street buskers is a woman who makes bubbles. She's a bit hit with little kids.
